At Fred’s Swim Academy even the smallest child will have fun learning to swim. The 3-Stage-Learn-to-Swim-System, SWIMTRAINER Classic, will enable your child to develop the perfect swimming technique, with instructions to suit the relevant age groups. Each phase of the SWIMTRAINER Classic course is held in a safe environment, thus ensuring easy and rapid learning.

Junior swimmers can advance from being a frog in water to earning a penguin or sea horse swimming badge.

The penguin badge is the first official swimming certification for young swimmers in Austria and Switzerland.
As an official qualification of the ÖWR (Austrian Life Guard Organisation), the test requires the same level of competence as the sea horse qualification in Germany.

The sea horse badge is an official swimming certification for young swimmers in Germany and Austria. As an official qualification, children must be able to perform the following:
- Leap from the edge of the pool into the water, followed by a 25 m swim. At Hotel Neubichler Alm, this constitutes 2.5 lengths of our pool.
- Retrieve an object from the bottom of a pool with shoulder-deep water using one’s hands.
Upon successful completion of the above-mentioned challenges, your child will receive his or her swimming badge and can then apply for further qualifications in Austria, Switzerland or Germany.
