1. Arrival and Departure
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the rooms will not be available before 4:00 pm on the agreed day of arrival. On the agreed day of departure rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am. Later departures will incur a half-day charge until 6:00 pm of the said day. Departures after 6:00 pm will incur a charge of the full room rate.
2. Payment
The hotel may demand an advance payment for the reservation 10 days prior to the agreed arrival date. Payment for bookings made at short notice can be made by EC-card.
3. Cancellation
All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations up until 28 days prior to the agreed arrival date will incur no charge (except where other terms are expressly agreed in writing). Cancellations between 27 and 15 days prior to the agreed arrival date will incur a 50% charge on the room rate. Cancellations between 14 and 4 days prior to the agreed arrival date will incur a 70% charge on the room rate. In the event of a cancellation 3 days or less prior to the agreed arrival date an 80% charge will be incurred on the room rate and 60% in the case of board (room with meals booking). These terms and conditions are in accordance with DEHOGA (German Hotel & Catering Association).
4. Hotel Cancellation Insurance
This tailor-made travel cancellation and travel insurance for your hotel or apartment stay provides compensation in the event of a cancellation, no-show or termination of your holiday for reasons which are insured. In the event you have to cancel your holiday due a landslide, flood, avalanche or storm in Germany, its neighboring countries or in Italy, Elvia will refund the costs.

You can ask us for a remittance form or book the insurance yourself on our website www.neubichler-alm.com. Our reservation desk can also book hotel cancellation insurance for you. You will then receive an insurance certificate with your booking confirmation. In the event of cancellation or late arrival for your booked holiday the deductible amount will be 20% of the amount of damage, a minimum € 25,–.
Please note:
1. Hotel cancellation insurance can only be purchased within 14 days after the confirmation has been received for the booking.
In the event of bookings made at short notice (between 15 to 28 days before the start of your holiday) cancellation insurance must be purchased no later than 14 days before the start of your holiday. For bookings made 14 or less days before the start of your holiday, cancellation insurance must be purchased on the same day of the booking.
2. The insurance premium payable is dependent on the cost of the booking. The maximum amount of cover is € 10,000.
3. Groups of 10 persons or more are required to fill out a special form and return the completed form to us.
4. What to do in case of an unfortunate event: cancel your holiday at once and inform ELVIA travel insurance. Pay your hotel the required cancellation fee.
Then submit the loss claim, your hotel booking confirmation, the cancellation invoice, any relevant documentation of the loss (doctor`s certificate, etc) and proof of your insurance policy to ELVIA.
